Mechanism of action

Target Enzyme Inhibition: 

·By inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS, also known as branched-chain amino acid synthase) in weeds, it blocks the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids such as valine, leucine, and isoleucine, causing the growth of weeds to stagnate, the young tissues to turn chlorotic and necrotic, and ultimately leading to death.

Action Characteristics:

·High Selectivity: It is safe for gramineous crops (such as wheat) and highly effective against broad-leaved weeds.

·Moderate Persistence: The half-life in soil is approximately 1 - 3 weeks. It is mainly degraded by microorganisms, with a relatively low residue risk.

Application Technology

·Crops Applicable: Gramineous crops such as wheat, barley, rye, etc.

·Target Weeds:

·Main Weeds: Broadleaf weeds such as Galium aparine, Descurainia sophia, Capsella bursa - pastoris, Stellaria media, Chenopodium album, Polygonum spp., etc.

·Ineffective against Gramineous Weeds: For weeds like Alopecurus aequalis, Avena fatua, etc., other herbicides (such as fenoxaprop - P - ethyl) need to be used in combination.

Application Period and Dosage:

·Optimal Application Period: From the 2 - 4 leaf stage of wheat to before jointing, and the 2 - 4 leaf stage of weeds (better results when weeds are small).

·Recommended Dosage: Use 10 - 15 grams of 10% wettable powder per mu, and mix it with 30 - 45 liters of water for uniform spraying.
