 ·The pure product is a white crystal or a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. The industrial product is a yellow-brown oily liquid with a slight aromatic odor.

 ·It is almost insoluble in water (solubility < 0.01 mg/L at 20°C) and is easily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, methanol, and xylene.

 ·Stability: It is stable to light and under acidic conditions. It is easily hydrolyzed when encountering alkali (rapid decomposition when pH > 9).

2. Mechanism of Action and Characteristics

·Mechanism of Action:

 It acts on the sodium ion channels of the nerve cell membranes of insects, inhibits the closure of sodium ion channels, causes disorders in nerve signal transmission, and triggers excessive excitement,   convulsions, and   eventually death of pests.

·Insecticidal characteristics:

 Highly efficient and broad-spectrum: Effective against more than 80 species of pests such as Lepidoptera (e.g., cotton bollworm, diamondback moth), Coleoptera (e.g., beetles), Diptera (e.g., mosquitoes and flies),   Hemiptera  (e.g., aphids), etc.

3.Common dosage forms and usage methods

·Formulations: 10% Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), 2.5% Microemulsion (ME), 5% Wettable Powder (WP), 25 g/L Suspension Concentrate (SC), etc.

·Usage:

 Application method: Spray on stems and leaves. After diluting with water, evenly spray on the crop leaves and the habitats of pests.
