·Appearance: The pure product is a white to light yellow crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in water (<0.1 mg/L, 20℃) and readily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).

·Stability: It is stable under neutral and weakly acidic conditions, but easily decomposes when exposed to strong alkalis.

2.Mechanism of Action and Characteristics

·Mechanism of Action:

 Inhibits the activity of chitin synthase in insects, preventing the formation of new cuticles, resulting in hindered molting, deformities, or death of larvae. At the same time, it affects egg hatching and adult emergence.

·Insecticidal characteristics:

 Slow - acting: It belongs to the delayed - action insecticide. Larvae gradually die 3 - 5 days after coming into contact with the agent. After adults come into contact with it, the egg - laying amount decreases or the eggs cannot   hatch.

 Specifically kills larvae: It is highly effective against the larvae of pests such as Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Diptera, such as diamondback moths, cabbage caterpillars, cotton bollworms, scarab beetles, leaf miners, etc.

 Highly selective: It has low toxicity to natural enemies (such as ladybugs, parasitic wasps) and aquatic organisms like fish and shrimp, and belongs to environmentally friendly pesticides.

3.Common Formulations and Usage Methods

·Formulations: 5% Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), 5% Suspension Concentrate (SC), 10% Wettable Powder (WP), etc.

·Usage method:

 Spraying: Dilute it into a 1000 - 2000 - fold solution. Apply the drug during the peak hatching period of pest eggs until the 3rd instar of larvae. Focus on spraying on the back of leaves and tender parts.
