Clindamycin hydrochloride is an organic compound with the chemical formula C18H34Cl2N2O5S. It is an antibiotic drug and a derivative of lincomycin. It was launched in China in 1970. Its antibacterial spectrum is the same as that of lincomycin, but it has a stronger antibacterial effect. It is mainly used clinically for osteomyelitis, infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, respiratory system infections, biliary tract infections, endocarditis, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, and sepsis, etc. The most common adverse reactions in application: allergic reactions, local injection irritation and abnormal liver function, and the most serious one is pseudomembranous enteritis (PMC).
