1.Main functions

Stimulate endogenous GH secretion:

Act directly on the pituitary gland to promote the release of GH by GH cells. It is especially suitable for people with intact GH secretion function but abnormal regulation (such as some cases of growth hormone deficiency).

Unlike growth hormone releasing peptides (GHRPs, such as Ipamorelin), GHRH drugs regulate GH secretion through a physiological pathway, which may be safer.

Diagnosis and Research of Adult GHD:

Evaluate pituitary reserve function through GH stimulation tests (such as in combination with insulin hypoglycemia test).

3.Dosage Forms and Administration

Dosage Forms: Injection: White lyophilized powder, which needs to be dissolved in sterile water and then injected subcutaneously or intravenously.

Conventional Dosage (Based on Indications): Pediatric GHD: 10 - 15μg/kg per day, injected subcutaneously (divided into 1 - 2 times).

Adult GH Stimulation Test: Intravenous injection of 1μg/kg, monitor the changes in blood GH levels.
