Mechanism of Action

Inhibits the early stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis (phosphoenolpyruvate transferase), disrupts the integrity of the cell wall, and belongs to bactericides.

Antibacterial Spectrum

Broad - spectrum Antibacterial: Covers Gram - positive bacteria (such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus), Gram - negative bacteria (such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa), and some anaerobic bacteria.

Characteristics: It has certain activity against multidrug - resistant bacteria (such as methicillin - resistant Staphylococcus aureus MRSA, extended - spectrum β - lactamase - producing bacteria ESBLs), but it is easy to induce drug resistance when used alone.

3.Formulations and Administration Methods

Oral Administration (Common formulations are tablets or granules):

Adults: 2 - 4g per day, divided into 3 - 4 times (Take on an empty stomach to avoid affecting absorption when taken with food).

Children: 50 - 100mg/kg per day, divided into 3 - 4 times.
